League Rules

Seniors: 9:15 am Shotgun Weekly

• Play from Red- players permanent choice for league play.
• Ball played “UP” everywhere but hazards – 1′ from original position
• Conceded putts are allowed
• USGA Rule 21.2 Player’s Score is capped at maximum of two times par.
• Out of bounds or lost ball: Estimate the spot lost or ob. Find the nearest fairway edge equal distance from spot lost.
  You can drop a within 2 clubs of fairway spot or anywhere between there and the est spot ball was lost or went OB. Penalty +2 strokes
• Rain outs cancel a match – there are no make matches
• POINTS: 1 pt AvsA low net, 1 pt BvsB low net, 1 pt Team low net total
• 1 Player team – No show player forfeits Individual point. Team net is player + 38.
• HCPS: 90% on avg of 1-4 latest scores of 5 with the highest score not counted.
• FEES: $60 per player due the 1st day of play. Includes prize purse, tee gift and banquet.
• 3 Player teams are encouraged for maximum participation.
• 1 original team member of 3 must be present for points.
  

Tuesday Night

• USGA rules govern play
• Play from Blue tees – Ladies from Red
• Ball played “UP” in fairway and “DOWN” in rough, hazards
• Conceded putts are allowed
• USGA Rule 21.2 Player’s Score is capped at maximum of two times par.
• Ball search is limited to 3 minutes
• Putt with Pin in Cup – No Penalty. (ENCOURAGED)
• ​Make your stroke within 40 seconds of being able to play.
• Out of bounds, lost balls by USGA rules – PLAY A PROVISIONAL
• Local Rule: -Out of bounds or lost ball: Estimate the spot lost or ob. Find the nearest fairway edge equal distance from spot lost.
  You can drop a within 2 clubs of fairway spot or anywhere between there and the est spot ball was lost or went OB. +2 strokes.
• Rain outs cancel a match – no make ups.
• Late opponent(s) can play if arrive before tee ball 2nd hole – play 1st hole last
• No Shows forfeit match – 3 team no shows and team DQ’d for next seasons league
• 1 player team plays for 2 pts. Individual and team (his/her net score plus 38 vs other teams total net).
• POINTS: 1 pt AvsA low net, 1pt BvsB low net, 1pt Team low net total
• HCPS: 90% on avg of 1-4 scores of the latest 5 rounds with the highest score not counted.
• FEES: $85 per player due the 1st day of play. Includes Prize purse, tee gift and Banquet.
• PRIZES: Gift Card proceeds -Teams Payout based on places for total points.
• 3 Player teams are encouraged for maximum participation.
• 1 original team member of 3 must be present for points.

Wednesday Ladies:

Fee $75 per registered player – Due 1st night of league.

• Pace of play: Goal of 2.5 hours – all matches completed by 8:15pm

• Prepare for next shot in advance of next stroke, play when ready and play out of turn when safe and able to help pace of play.

• Play from Red Tees

• Ball played 1 club from original position no nearer the hole and 1′ on the greens

• The ball must stay in same condition (rough in rough, fairway in fairway, hazard in hazard. Bunkers may be raked between shots.

• No minimum drive or shot requirements. Nor is there a MAX score per hole.

• Whiffs count as a shot. Please pick the ball up and play from next location..

• Maximum 3 minutes allowed to search for all golf balls per team per shot.

• Out of bounds or lost ball: Estimate the spot lost or ob. Find the nearest fairway edge equal distance from spot lost. You can drop a within 2 clubs of fairway spot or anywhere between there and the est spot ball was lost or went OB. +2 strokes.

• If your group is slow (behind a hole) YOU MAY Record a par for a hole(s) skipped, The same applies for holes not played due to darkness.
  It is not permissible to skip around a group(s) to an open hole(s).

• Teams are encouraged to putt with flagstick in the cup.

• Gimme’s: Conceded putts are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. New: Anything within the lower black portion of the flag stick is considered holed (33”)

• Matches will be official after 4 holes of play. Remaining holes/points will be halved.

• Rain outs cancel a match – there will be no make up matches

• No Shows: The team is allowed a maximum of one mulligan by a player per holel but not on the green. 

• POINTS: 1 pt per hole match play & 3 points for low team net score

• HCPS: Teams establish the first three weeks then adjusted weekly. 90% avg on 2 best of last 3 scores. Max 18

• FEES: $75 per player – This is the Ladies Club fee and includes League and Club Championship Entry.

• 1 original team member of 4 must be present for points

• THERE WILL BE NO FORFEITS-TEAMS WILL PLAY VS A GHOST SCORE CARD NET+3.

• Conceded putts/holes are allowed and encouraged when appropriate.
    In case you concede a hole and do not hole your ball, record your most likely score.
• Maximum 3 minutes allowed to search for all golf balls per team per shot.
• Out of bounds or lost ball: Estimate the spot lost or ob. Find the nearest fairway edge equal distance from spot lost. 
     You can drop a within 2 clubs of fairway spot or anywhere between there and the est spot ball was lost or went OB. Penalty +2 strokes
• Rain outs cancel a match – there are no make matches
• POINTS: Match Play 1 point per hole on net score and 3 points for low net score per team. Total 21 points available.
• HCPS: Teams establish the THREE WEEKS then adjusted weekly. 90% avg on 2 best of last 3 scores.
• FEES: $60 per player due the 1st day of play. Includes prize purse, tee gift and banquet.
• 3 Player teams are encouraged for maximum participation.
• 1 original team member of 3 must be present for points.

Thursday Night Men

USGA rules govern play

• Masters, US Open, British play Black tees
• PGA, PLAYERS , RYDER CUP play Blue tees
• Schedule: Regular season Play each team twice with mid season and finale position night for final 10 places.
• Fun Night and Banquet Finale follows the final Position Night.
• Ball played “UP” in fairway and “DOWN” in rough, hazards
• USGA Rule 21.2 Player’s Score is capped at maximum of two times par.
• Conceded putts and holes are allowed, encouraged when appropriate,
• Out of bounds, lost balls by USGA Rules – PLAY A PROVISIONAL

          Team Points: 1 points per match Team v Team total team low net score. 
          3 Total Points available per week 
• THERE WILL BE NO FORFEITS-Individual Players & TEAMS WILL PLAY VS A GHOST SCORE CARD NET+3 each 9 holes.
• GHOST SCORECARD: FRONT 5,5,4,4,5,4,3,3,5=38 BACK 5,5,3,5,4,3,5,3,5=38
• HCPS: 90% on avg of 1-4 scores of 5 weeks with the highest score is not counted. 
• FEES: $85 per players due the 1st day of play. Includes Prize Purse, Tee Gift and Banquet.
• PRIZES: Gift Card payback based on Team Season Total Points (10 places)
