USGA Rules of Golf Guidelines

Safety

• Players should ensure that no one is standing close by or in a position to be hit by the club, the ball or other items when they make a stroke or practice swing.
  
• Players should not play until the players in front are out of range.
  
• Always alert greenstaff ahead when they are about to make a stroke that might endanger them.
  
• Shout a warning, “fore”, if there is a danger of a ball hitting someone.

Pace of Play

• All players and guests must register in the pro shop prior to play.
• Players should play at a good pace. 2 hours or less for 9 holes of play.
• It is the group’s responsibility to keep up with the group in front.
• Where it is apparent that the group behind can play faster, then it should invite the faster moving group to play through.
• Priority on the course is determined by pace of play. Groups playing 18 holes are entitled to play through groups playing a shorter round.
• The term group includes a single player.
• Groups of five and/or starting play on 10 or any hole other than 1 by permission only.

  Groups of 6 or more is not allowed other than in scheduled events.

Care of the Course

• Bunkers: Before leaving the bunker, players should carefully rake it smooth of holes and foot prints.

• Repair of Divots & Ball Marks: Players should carefully repair any divot holes or ball mark damage on the putting green.

• Players must prevent any unnecessary damage.

• Notices regulating the movement of golf carts should be strictly observed. Keep carts on paths near all tees and greens.

• Two players are to pair up on a single cart prior to play or at the earliest opportunity. It is poor etiquette and damaging to the course for two or more players to each use a single cart.

Policies

• Cart Operators must be 16 years of age.

• Alcohol, Food and bottled beverages may not be brought onto Two Rivers premises. Exception: Catered meals.

• Season passes apply to open tee times, leagues and club sponsored events only. Private events are excluded.

• All Fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

• Credit card and debit card purchases are subject to a surcharge.

• Club, staff reserved the right to refuse the right to refuse service to anyone.

Penalties for Breach

If players follow the guidelines in this section, it will make the game more enjoyable for everyone.

If a player consistently disregards these guidelines during a round or over a period of time to the detriment to others, appropriate disciplinary action will be considered against the offending player(s). Including prohibiting play for a limited time on the course or in a certain number of competitions. This is justifiable in terms of protecting the interests of the majority of golfers who wish to play.

In case of a serious breach of etiquette, the course may disqualify a player under Rule 33-7.
