About Us

Two Rivers, originally named the Elmwood Course of the Sioux City Boat Club, has served players since the early 1900’s.

We are a inclusive public facility that is focused providing a fun golf experience. 

The lay out is designed by architect Leonard Macomber and built by Bill Adams and crew in the early 1930’s.

Par is 70 and the yardage is just over 6,000 yards. The ground is level for the most part with Oaks and Ash bordering all fairways, many holes are narrow and stiff test for the straightest golfers.

Greens roll true and average 3500 sq feet with subtle undulation, most are guarded by championship type bunkers, the rye/bluegrass fairways cover 25-30 acres and are typically 30 yards wide and the rough is maintained at a playable height of cut. It’s a fun and challenging golf course.

The “club” is golf focused with exceptional practice facilities and 2 Trackman Simulator bays for year round improvement. PGA Golf Instruction is a core service for all players.

The Elmwood Clubhouse, Lounge and Patios are recently remodeled and ready to serve you.
