2017 Updates and Improvements
Many are familiar with the Big Oak on the left side of #12 fairway. It died last spring and was brought down mid December. This should really improve the playability of the hole.
The pond thru the fairway on #9 has been cleared of 12" of rocks, weeds, trees and other natural debris and has been replaced with 12" of natural "river" sand.
The area will be played as a "waste area" or "waste bunker" and will no longer be a hazard. Play it as it lies!!
Additional "g" or bunker sand has been installed to each of our 16 bunkers. Thank you to Rick, Al and Neil for their work.
The #14 Pond has been cleared of 12" of rocks, weeds, trees and other debris and refurbished to hold water. It will be played as a lateral water hazard.
The Club acquired 4 new pieces of Toro Maintenance equipment in May.
2 Fairway mowers, 1 Greens mower and 1 Trim mower (grass around greens, tees and fairways).
These are a nice addition and will improve the quality of turf.
After some demo and refurbish work, windows original to the building were re-exposed to the snack bar. See the great views and a lot more natural light!
